3. How to install and activate Elementor

Elementor is available for free on the WordPress.org repository, so you can install it by searching Elementor in the plugin area of your WordPress dashboard and clicking “Install Now”. Once installed, you can activate with a click of a button to get started building!

4. Customizing your page with the drag-and-drop interface

To start using Elementor on your pages, go to edit a page and click ‘Edit with Elementor’ to get started! Once opened, you’ll see a list of all the available templates on your site.

Click and drag to move around any element you want, or click “Add Element” in order to add new elements like text boxes for adding content!

5. Adding sections, rows, and columns to your page

Elementor uses a built-in, responsive grid system to power both simple and complex layouts. First, add a new section by clicking the “+” button in your toolbar. Sections can be added to both a row and column, or nested inside another section for more complex layouts!

To add rows within sections you’ve already created on either side of an element (or below it), click “Add Row”. Rows are useful when building content that needs space between elements like text blocks with images above them – just drag one onto each line where there’s empty room leftover from other items being dragged into place:)

To create columns instead use ‘+’ again but this time select Columns- they’re great if want something simple without all those pesky lines getting mixed up together 😉 You’ll see how easy Elementors grid system is once we start adding some templates.

6. Using Elements in your pages

What is an element? Elements are individual parts of websites that make up different sections of a website. There have many different types of elements, many more than I cover in this post – beyond text boxes and image placeholders.

Elements make building websites easy because they’re pre-made pieces we use over again throughout any given project so there’s no need to start everything fresh every time.

Elementor comes built-in with a ton of great content elements, including text boxes, images, galleries and much more. These widgets are how you add content to your page, so it’s important to learn how they work.

To add a new element, click the ‘+’ icon in your layout editor and select from one of Elementor’s available widgets.

– Text Boxes are great for adding text content like blog posts or pages with contact information on them – just type away!

– Images are perfect for adding images to your site. You can upload an image from the Media Library, or you could drag and drop a photo onto one of Elementor’s templates:)

– Galleries allow users with multiple photos in their media library to add them all at once into galleries that they create themselves! It’ll automatically generate thumbnails so it looks nice too! If there aren’t enough pictures? No problem; just use the ‘Add Image’ button instead.
